Robotics Club at Adams Memorial Library
The library is excited to offer new Robotics Clubs for children and one for teens, providing hands-on opportunities to explore technology and coding in a fun and engaging environment.
The Kids Robotics Club recently held its first meeting, where participants successfully completed their first project using LEGO-based robotics. Young builders created a campsite scene and programmed an “Animal Alarm” system using coding and light sensors. The project was designed to detect blue and red creatures passing by and trigger different colored warning lights. Every participant enjoyed learning the basics of robotics and programming through hands-on activities.
Upcoming activities for the clubs will include additional LEGO robotics challenges, mBot robots, circuit boards, robotic arms designed to inspire creativity, problem-solving, and STEM learning.
